Offshore wind consultancy firm OWC has hired James Rinkel to lead the development of its project engineering team.
With more than 12 years’ experience in the management, design and construction of multi-national offshore wind farms and large onshore structures, Mr Rinkel has worked on projects in the UK, France, Denmark and Japan.
He joins OWC from Lloyds Register, where he held the role of development engineering manager for clean energy projects.

In his new position, he will be in charge of the supply of engineering assignments and supporting project deliveries to global clients.
OWC is the renewables arm of Oslo-listed AqualisBraemar ASA and offers independent consultancy to the offshore sector.
Will Cleverly, OWC managing director, said: “We are delighted that James has joined us; with his extensive offshore wind experience and engineering management credentials, he will be a huge asset to our team and clients”.
