Aberdeen-headquartered KCA Deutag has announced the award of contract extensions worth more than $150m (£115million) in Oman.
The land drilling work will see KCA Deutag provide around 420 people for the contract over five years, covering customer-owned rigs, hoists and workshops.
KCAD said the award is an extension to work first won in 2015 and comes from “the country’s leading exploration and production companies,” not giving their names.
One-year contract extensions have also been awarded for 8 KCAD rigs in country.
Meanwhile the group’s first well has been spudded in Kuwait.
