Aberdeen-based oil field service company Reservoir Group has rebranded all its coring businesses as Corpro.
Reservoir was previously known as Corpro until a £20million management buyout in 2007, but the group has since bought three coring firms – Diamond Oil Well Drilling, Coring Services and Quest Coring Services.
All four will now come under the Corpro brand, which Reservoir said made it the world’s largest coring provider.
The company will be led by managing director Doug Kinsella, the founder of Quest.
Reservoir chief executive Pascal Bartette said: “The time is right to position our leading activity under a sole banner and we believe this will enable the most efficient deployment of advanced technologies, equipment and personnel.
“We will offer our customers the broadest range of specialist coring solutions under the Corpro brand.
“As for Doug’s appointment, the selection was natural as he has built a very strong reputation in the coring industry and possesses an excellent track record for managing international businesses.”
Corpro employs around 400 people across 40 bases.
