Aberdeen energy consultant Xodus Group has re-entered the Australian market after a two-year gap.
The company said yesterday it had launched a £2million operation in Perth as it sees big opportunities for its integrated services in major greenfield projects.
Xodus previously opened an office in Perth in 2007 before selling the business to a former director in 2010.
A spokeswoman for Xodus said yesterday: “Since 2010, Xodus has grown significantly in key international locations including the US and across Europe and sees Asia Pacific as an important region for continued expansion and is focused on building a senior multi-disciplined team to take advantage of new development opportunities in Australia.”
Andy Jones has returned to the company to head up the new office as operations director and is currently recruiting a team of engineers, with four people in place and plans to have 20 over the next 12 months.
