Equinor has released a music video of dozens of its workers dancing across an oil platform as part of a campaign to promote “friendship and unity”.
The footage shows everyone, from chefs to rope access technicians, on the Johan Sverdrup platform taking some time out to show off their dance moves – and they’re really going for it.
The music video, which also includes helicopter crews and workers dancing onshore, is part of “BlimE” campaign in Norway, which Equinor said helps create a good working environment.
BlimE was started by NRK, the country’s state broadcaster, to encourage children and young people to be friendly and caring towards each other.
The armed forces in Norway have done a similar video in recent years.
