Oil and gas upstream engineering consultancy ClerkMaxwell has enhanced its operations with a new appointment in a bid to build upon a period of recent growth.
Julia Stewart has taken up the newly-created post of recruitment manager with the Aberdeen-based engineering specialist to spearhead the company’s strategy in this area.
Julia will provide full co-ordination of the recruitment process as well as being a focal point for recruitment strategy at ClerkMaxwell, part of the Costain Group. She has more than six years’ experience in the oil and gas recruitment sector with a particular emphasis on engineering.
ClerkMaxwell’s managing director John Wilson says: “Julia’s appointment adds fresh impetus to the business at a time when we are continuing to experience significant growth.
“Julia will play a crucial role in ensuring that we continue to bring the best people into ClerkMaxwell and that we maintain high-quality delivery for our customers.”
Julia, from Aberdeen, says: “It’s an exciting time to be joining an organisation with the drive and ambition of ClerkMaxwell. I look forward to helping grow the business even further.
“I was particularly attracted to ClerkMaxwell because of the company’s strong reputation and also by the challenges and opportunities the role presents.
“My main objective will be to identify the right people for the right job across a range of engineering disciplines. We are especially interested in hearing from experienced process, piping, mechanical, structural and construction engineers.”
