Malaysian national oil company Petronas is ready to start production from its Garagol Deniz West field in the Turkmenistan area of the Caspian Sea, some eight years after a platform jacket was installed.
The jacket for an unmanned drilling and production platform was installed in 2015, but the topsides was only put in place earlier this month.
Output from the field in Block 1 is expected to peak at 10,000 barrels per day of oil and 35 million cubic feet per day of gas.
