Subsea contracting major Technip, with partner Techint, has been awarded a “substantial contract” by PNBV to support the construction of the P-76 production ship.
Technip said its operations centre in Rio de Janeiro will carry out project management, engineering and procurement for the contract with the Petrobras subsidiary.
Fabrication, integration and commissioning of 24,000 tons of modules will be carried out in Techint’s yard in the south of Brazil. The project is scheduled to be completed by mid-2017.
