Bond Offshore Helicopters said yesterday it had signed its fourth North Sea contract in as many months.
The helicopter operator said it had agreed a three-year, £14million deal with Applied Drilling Technology International (ADTI) to provide crew-change flights from next month.
Bond said its new Sikorsky S-92 would ferry offshore workers to the Ensco 100 rig, which will be drilling at Ithaca Energy’s £630million Greater Stella Area development in the central North Sea.
The aircraft will be shared with another contract Bond has signed this year, its £21million, three-year deal with Premier Oil for North Sea flights.
Bond managing director Luke Farajallah said the ADTI deal would allow the helicopter operator to build on its relationship with the Transocean subsidiary.
In February, the helicopter operator won a £16million contract with BW Offshore, running crew changes to and from the BW Athena floating production vessel on the Athena field in the outer Moray Firth.
Last month, Bond said it had won a contract with EnQuest to fly offshore workers to the oil company’s Alma/Galia development for up to 10 years. It is understood that agreement will also run to tens of millions of pounds.
