Indian engineering company Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won a “significant” engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning order for two LNG storage tanks at the Petronet LNG-led Dahej expansion project in Gujarat.
The engineering major refers to an order worth in the range of $136 million to $340 million as a “significant order.”
Each tank will have a storage capacity of 170,000 cubic metres, L&T said in a statement yesterday.
L&T said it is committed to being an active EPC player to help achieve the Indian government’s target of increasing the share of gas in the primary energy mix from the current 6% to 15% by 2030.
