Bibby Offshore said yesterday its remotely operated vessel service division, Bibby Remote Intervention, had appointed David Howe to the newly established role of project director.
Mr Howe has worked in the oil and gas industry for 25 years, latterly as senior projects manager at Technip Offshore Wind.
Meanwhile the firm has also appointed Robin Longstaff as its new survey manager.
Mr Longstaff brings more than 15 years construction and energy industry to the firm, with spells at Subsea 7 and Halliburton.
“Collectively David and Robin bring 40 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry to BRIL,” said Mike Arnold, managing director of Bibby Remote Intervention.
“The impressive rate at which we are expanding means we need experienced, skilled and passionate people that will help ensure we continue to evolve at the level we are. I feel confident that with the addition of David and Robin, the team will continue to deliver an excellent level of service in this niche market.”
