The hunt to find 2013’s best performers in UK oil and gas industry has been launched.
The Oil & Gas UK Awards, which has been running since 2006, aims to find “the most outstanding companies and inspirational people working in the offshore oil and gas industry.”
Entries are invited in five categories, with two – for people development and business efficiency – focused on groups or organisations.
The remaining three are aimed at individuals, with categories for for mentors, young technician of the year and the overall excellence award for outstanding achievement an individual in the industry aged 30 or under.
“A key focus of the awards is recognising the talents of young professionals and technicians as well as the dedication of experienced mentors who pass on their knowledge to the next generation – providing a great opportunity too to highlight the careers this industry has to offer,” said Trisha O’Reilly, Oil & Gas UK’s communications director.
The awards will be announced at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on November 7, with nominations open until August 16 via the Oil and Gas UK website.
