Leading energy consultancy Westwood Global Energy Group has appointed a new research director to its RigLogix team.
Aberdeen-based Teresa Wilkie has more than a decade of experience under her belt as an andlyst and product manager.
She returns to Westwood where she previously worked for four years across the suite of rig intelligence services.
During her career Ms Wilkie has also spent time at IHS Markit and Esgian, formerly Bassoe Offshore, predominantly focused on the offshore rig market.
She said: “I’m delighted to be back home with the Westwood family. Re-joining the RigLogix team at such an exciting time of product development amid a rapidly evolving energy sector presents a real opportunity to drive growth and hone our services. It’s great to have the opportunity to work once again with a team that has such incredible knowledge and experience, and play my part in shaping RigLogix to help our clients deal with the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.”
In the last six months alone Westwood has hired 11 new analysts in the UK and Singapor.
Ms Wilkie’s appointment cements Westwood’s ambition to strengthen provisions across a range of its remits, including energy transition, offshore energy services, northwest Europe, and global exploration and appraisal.
Terry Childs, head of RigLogix, said: “Teresa re-joins the RigLogix team at an exciting time, following the launch of the RigLogix Advanced upgrade options and Westwood’s continuing drive to support our clients with actionable energy transition intelligence. In her new enhanced role as Research Director of RigLogix, Teresa is going to be a key member of our team and brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and insight into the offshore rig market.”
