Survival training firm Falck Safety Services (FSS) has announced the appointment of Colin Leyden as managing director.
Mr Leyden, 44, previously headed up UK operations for global engineering group Norgren.
FSS, part of Denmark-based group Falck, said he came to it with a broad supply-chain and business-development background.
It added: “Mr Leyden will oversee the provision and strategic development of Falck’s core safety services across its growing oil and gas, maritime, public sector, aviation and industrial client base.”
Mr Leyden will mainly be Aberdeen-based.
FSS – formerly Falck Nutec – was led previously by Graham Gall, who was appointed as UK standards and approvals directors by sector skills and workforce development body Opito late last year.
