Systems applications and products (SAP) specialist AG Consultancy & Apps has bolstered its leadership team as it pursuit of opportunities in the energy sector.
As the award-winning company’s new associate director for SAP services, Greig McDonald will be in charge of leading its next phase of strategic growth in Aberdeen.
In recent times the firm has experienced a steady increase in demand from companies looking to improve their SAP system capabilities.
In particular there has been a “healthy boost” across each of the key focus areas of SAP EAM, Core SAP and Intelligent Technologies.
As a result, the organisation has also recently recruited 10 personnel to support oil and gas campaigns in Aberdeen.
And there are plans to expand the team by a further 25 in the coming months.
AG is headquartered in Slough, with delivery centres across India serving clients and projects across Europe, Middle East, APAC, and the Americas.
Last year, AG was recognised as one of Europe’s fastest-growing companies in the FT1000.
It was also selected by Saïd Business School, part of the University of Oxford, to join its 10KSB growth programme, which is sponsored by Goldman Sachs.
Based at the company’s Aberdeen base in Mariscal Square, Mr McDonald joins AG with more than a decade’s experience of leading and managing SAP enterprise software divisions for several North Sea and Middle East operators.
Most recently he worked for energy services firm Subsea 7, having previously spent time at North Oil Company Qatar, Maersk Oil, and Cnooc.

AG was set up in 2014 by co-founders Francis Rajan and Nick Champion to provide value orientated, high quality multi-specialist SAP consulting and support services.
Clients include Spirit Energy and Neptune Energy.
