GE is to expand its oil and gas facility in Hungary to a state-of-the-art manufacturing base.
The facility in Fót will produce central unit control panels for gas and steam turbing powers, with a new 6000 square metre manufacturing hall.
The company, which has 12 manufacturing plants and three regional headquarters in Hungary, said the work would create 114 new jobs.
“Over the past two decades, Hungary has been a key manufacturing location for GE,” said GE Oil and Gas global supply chain leader Dave Cox.
“We consider Hungary to be a globally competitive epicenter not only for innovation but for skilled labor as well. The highly talented and motivated Hungarian workforce with their professional training and expertise is a significant advantage.”
