Aramark’s offshore team is celebrating after receiving a 14th consecutive gold award for occupational health and safety.
It means the foodservice and facility-management firm also won the coveted President’s Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). The president’s accolade only goes to companies with a consistently outstanding performance in health and safety over a prolonged period.
RoSPA awards manager David Rawlins said: “RoSPA firmly believes that organisations that demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill-health prevention deserve recognition. Aramark has shown that it is committed to striving for such continuous improvement.”
Mike Ball, Aramark’s Scotland and offshore managing director, said: “This award is the latest of many for Aramark which demonstrate excellence in safety. It is just one further step in our drive to continually improve and there’ll be no complacency as we aim to secure gold for a 15th time next year.”
It is the third time Aramark, whose Scottish headquarters is at Dyce, Aberdeen, has received the President’s Award.
The company provides hotel, catering and facility management services to remote sites off Aberdeen, Great Yarmouth, Blackpool and Hull, plus Denmark and the Middle East.
