Genesis, a wholly owned TechnipEnergies company, have signed a Master Service Agreement (MSA) with PZE Limited (PZE) to provide decarbonisation and advisory services for various projects in Australia.
The MSA is effective immediately and will be used to collaborate with PZE on a number of energy transition studies in the coming months. The initial work includes a regional assessment of the Australian east coast emissions opportunity set and decarbonisation feasibility studies.
Genesis will be using its existing capabilities in CO2 analysis, reduction and elimination to deliver potential solutions to decarbonise, including CO2 capture and storage using their proprietary carbon assessment tools, Gen-CAT. In addition, we will be collaborating with PZE to assess carbon farming opportunities on the east coast of Australia.
PZE is a decarbonisation expert and investor – initially partnering and investing within the energy industry to reduce emissions across Australia. PZE focuses on proven abatement technologies, including Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) and Carbon Farming to generate valuable carbon credits.
The company is targeting Australian east coast oil & gas projects and leveraging this expertise to participate in other high emitting industries such as power, steel, cement, and new markets for hydrogen.
Christophe Malaurie, SVP Genesis, stated “Genesis is very proud to be working as PZE’s trusted advisor, utilising our experience and digital capabilities in carbon management to support their low carbon vision for Australia. Not only does this frame agreement signify our commitment to supporting Australia’s net zero ambitions, it recognises the collaboration and dedication of our teams in the region to work towards a sustainable future.”
