The last remaining well on the Kharsang Field has been spudded, Jubilant Energy has confirmed.
The KPL-3E-5 well, located in northern part of the Indian prospect, is the sixth of the Phase-III-Extension development drilling campaign.
Jubilant said it would be drilled to around 1,015 metres of depth.
Evaluation of the fifth development well of the campaign is underway. The KSG#69 was spudded on 24 June and was successfully drilled to the depth of 1,563.6 metres.
Jubilant holds a 25% interest in the Kharsang Field. The other members of the consortium are Oil India and GeoPetrol.
