The UK Oil and Gas Chaplaincy has opened a book of condolence for people wishing to pay tribute to the four offshore workers who died after Friday’s helicopter accident.
A book of condolence will be available to sign in the oil chapel at St Nicholas’ Church on Aberdeen’s Union Street from 10am today.
An online book of condolence has also been set up for those unable to visit Aberdeen.
“The oil chapel has special significance for the oil and gas industry and has in the past been the natural focus point for its members and the people of Aberdeen to demonstrate their care for families affected by tragedy,” said industry chaiplain the Reverend Gordon Craig.
“I am sure the people of Aberdeen and those working in the industry will wish to show the families of George Allison, Sarah Darnley, Gary McCrossan and Duncan Munro that they are very much in their thoughts at this time.”
