The start-up of Njord and Hyme fields in the Norwegian North Sea oil fields has been delayed until later this month, it has emerged.

Faroe added the delay would not affect its production estimates for the year, announced on August 20.
The company expects to produce at the lower end of the 7,000-9,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day range in 2013, following an estimated production of 7,890 boepd year to June 30.
