Aberdeen-based subsea specialists Reef are to provide decommissioning support for a North Sea pipeline.
The firm’s Polar King vessel will remove the Angus pipeline, across the Fife, Fergus, Flora and Angus fields in the Central North Sea.
Reef will also deliver filtration, suction and down lines to clear the pipe.
The project, which will be managed in-house, is the first decommissioning project of its type the company has been hired for.
