Oil giant Chevron has announced a management reshuffle after making changes to its upstream and midstream operations.
Jay Johnson, currently president of Chevron’s Europe, Asia and Middle Eastern E&P operations, will become the new senior vice president of upstream at the end of the year.
The 54-year-old, who has been with Chevron for more than 30 years, will leave his post in London, with former upstream support leader Todd Levy taking his place in the UK.
Joe Geagea, current president of the gas and midstream business, will now become senior vice president for the technology, projects and services arm, while Asian South MD Pierre Breber has been named president of the gas and midstream unit.
“These appointments ensure a smooth transition in our upstream business and simplify the delivery of technology and services to all of our businesses,” said Chevron chief executive John Watson.
“Jay, Joe and Pierre are experienced leaders who will enhance a very effective leadership team.”
