Peru energy group Maple Energy announced new management appointments to its business and finance departments.
Jim Pontiff, who joined Maple in 2008 with focus on the ethanol business, has been appointed to the position of vice president of business development.
His current role as the chief financial officer will be taken over by Alfonso Morante, currently the company’s vice president of corporate finance and investor relations.
Morante joined Maple in 2001 and was involved in the recently announced senior secured debt financing for the company’s ethanol business.
The appointments will come into effect on November 1.
