The Energy Industries Council (EIC) has appointed a new chief executive for its London office.
Claire Miller will take over the post moving from her current position as director of UK operations and following a six month term as an interim chief executive.
Miller joined the EIC in January 1996 as membership director and oversaw the council’s membership growth from 185 to 686 UK companies today.
“The appointment of Claire Miller as CEO of the EIC was a unanimous decision on the part of the EIC board,” said Paul Mitchell, chairman of the EIC.
“Claire has been dedicated to successfully serving the interests of the EIC and its members for over 16 years, and has been central to a marked transformation in the organisation in recent years.
“I am confident that members’ interests will be at the heart of everything that Claire and her team do.”
