Offshore engineering firm Aquaterra Energy has appointed a new senior riser analyst for its deep water project analysis division.
John Thomson, former engineer at 2H Offshore Engineering, will bring in experience in design and numerical analysis of riser systems, including drilling and production risers, jack-up systems, completion risers and conductor systems in both shallow and deep-water projects.
He is currently studying for a PhD in conductor soil interaction at Strathclyde University.
