Renewables firm Fred Olsen has bought out RWE’s stake in a Scots windfarm project.
The Windy Standard in South West Scotland, already has 36 turbines in place, with two further phases due to begin construction from next year.
The site, 9km north of Carsphairn in Dumfries and Galloway, was originally a joint project between Fred Olsen Renewables and RWE, but the latter’s stake has now been bought out for an undisclosed free.
The phases, once approved and operational, will produce almost 120MW.
