Aberdeen training firm Mintra has landed a deal to provide facilities for a Mexican oil and gas services group.
The six-figure deal will see Mintra providing its Training Portal for the next three years for Oro Negro’s staff in the Gulf of Mexico.
The oil and gas firm also provides integrated services to Mexico’s state oil firm Pemex.
“This contract will allow us to build on our international presence whilst ensuring Oro Negro’s staff are trained to the highest standard for the needs of the industry now and in the decades to come,” said Mintra managing director Peter Conner.
The Aberdeen firm, which also has specialists in Oslo and Stavanger, employs 80 people to provide training to more than 500 oil and gas firms around the world.
