Oilfield troubleshooter Maxoil Solutions has joined forces with a Malaysian engineering firm to help drive its business in the Far East.
Aberdeen-based Maxoil has formed a strategic partnership with Selangor-based system integrator specialist, Expet Controls Sdn Bhd.
The exclusive agency agreement will see Expet market the process engineering consultant’s services to the Malaysian oil and gas sector.
Maxoil’s co-founder and managing director Mel Dow said: “We’re delighted to sign this agreement with Expet, a company that is extremely well regarded, particularly within the Malaysian market.
“With Expet’s expert knowledge of the local industry, I’ve no doubt this partnership will help facilitate our growth in the Far East, where we’ve identified exciting opportunities for our specialist services.
“Our expansion plans in Malaysia are part of a wider global strategy to maximise the opportunities that are opening up for us.
“We’re in a very strong position to significantly grow our client list across the world.”
Maxoil – which also has bases in the US, Norway and Australia – said it expects significant growth in the North Sea and Gulf of Mexico regions, where it has already become established.
Maxoil Solutions offers a range of process engineering and production chemistry consultancy services.
