
Aberdeenshire-based engineering firm Ace Winches has appointed six of its staff to new management positions.
Greg Scott will become the firm’s engineering director responsible for mechanical engineering, design, research and development across the engineering department, having previously worked in management positions for Oceaneering and NCR.
Becoming the new project director is David Blane, specialist in project management and engineering with specific focus on the manufacturing and service divisions and previous experience at Spex Services, Meta and Completion Products.
Graham McDonald will become the drives, systems and controls manager, leading the electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC functions of the business.
Nishant Nadagouda, who had previously worked for the company for seven years, is taking on the lead design engineer for research and development role to focus on the progress and production of new and innovative technology, products and services.
With more than 18 years of experience in management, operations, market strategy and business development Keith Will will become a group sales manager responsible for promoting the company’s newest division, ACE Services.
Lastly, John Elphinstone is taking on the role of supply chain, systems and IT manager, having held similar positions since 2001, including GE Oil and Gas and Geolink.
“These appointments are paramount in strengthening the execution of ACE Winches’ engineering design and project management process,” said Graham Thomson, chief operating officer.
“Already a key focus of the company, these processes will lead to a more efficient delivery model and an overall enhanced experience for our clients.”
