Aberdeen-based Helix Well Ops has moved to new premises after undergoing major expansion over the last five years.
The company, which is owned by Helix Energy, is to switch to Alba Gate in Dyce, after taking a six-year lease on new headquarters twice the size of its current base.
The move comes as the company sees its staff levels reach 115 onshore and a further 350 on the MSV Seawell, Well Enhancer and recent charter Skandi Constructor.
“North-east Scotland has witnessed substantial investment from the energy industry over the past year, showing the confidence that persists in the sector,” said the firm’s regional president Steve Nairn.
“We have grown our business consistently over recent years, both in terms of contracts secured and workforce employed. Our move to larger premises illustrates the investment we continue to make in the business, underlining our commitment to further growing our presence in the region.”
The firm has recently completed a well intervention campaign off Equatorial Guinea – its second in three years – and has contracts off Canada and west of Shetland.
