Aberdeen-based firm Dron & Dickson has appointed two new managers for its health and safety and sales divisions.
Lenny Collins becomes the new HSEQ manager for the hazardous area electrical equipment specialists and will be responsible for the company’s compliance with new and existing legislation in the UK, Brazil, the Middle East and offshore.
Before joining Dron & Dickson, Collins worked in various leadership positions over more than 19 years with Rolls-Royce in the aerospace sector.
“The experience and knowledge I have acquired in previous roles means that I am well placed to support the management board with its operational controls, while providing all staff with safety guidance and support,” Collins said.
Dron & Dickson has also promoted Bruce McHattie to the wholesale operations manager for the UK role, from a sales manager position which he had held for six years.
Prior to joining the company McHattie worked with plumbing suppliers William Wilson in a variety of managerial roles.
“I am delighted that my contribution to Dron & Dickson has been recognised by this promotion, and I look forward to this new challenge which allows me to focus on our UK wholesale business as a whole,” McHattie said.
