Diamond Offshore Drilling has secured a 10-well Vietnam contract for its Ocean Quest semi-submersible with Petrovietnam Exploration & Production (PVEP).
The rig is starting work about now at a dayrate of $198,900, with unpriced options for three further wells. The SS-15K floater had previously been working in the Brazil sector.
