North Sea workers could strike if discussions on pensions and wages fail to produce a viable solution, labour union SAFE warned.
SAFE said nearly 200 workers could go on strike on June 16 if the issues are not resolved.
The mass stand-down would affect ExxonMobil’s Ringhorne and Balder facilities located in the Norwegian North Sea.
SAFE leader Hilde-Marit Rysst said a series of meetings had already been held in a bid to reach an agreement.
The fields produced about 46,000 barrels of oil per day in 2013, according to the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.
