Aberdeen has a tough job ahead if it is to truly become the energy capital of Europe, believes The Press and Journal’s Energy editor Jeremy Cresswell.
He said the city’s North Sea location allowed it to reap the benefits of the oil and gas industry, but it will need to learn how to capitalise on the renewables sector to truly become a global energy market leader.
