Oifield services company RMEC has bolstered its management ranks with the appointment of Dean Greig.
The former Aker Qserv onshore operations engineer has joined the well-intervention equipment firm as operations manager. He brings more than 35 years’ engineering and well services experience.
Managing director Bryan Fagan said: “Dean is a well-known and highly respected figure in the industry and his joining the team provides us with the operational experience we need to complement the existing technical expertise that has underpinned our business and helped consolidate our position in the industry to date.
“This provides us with a strong platform on which to build and reach our ambition of becoming a leader in the rental, sale and service of equipment for well services. It is important however that we retain the customer-focused approach that has been integral to the success of our business so far. Having someone of Dean’s calibre join the team will ensure we can achieve that.”
The Forfar-based firm is due to embark on the next stage of its growth strategy following a £7.5million investment from Maven Capital Partners in April.
