Irish explorer Falcon Oil & Gas has appointed its group financial controller as chief financial officer.
Former PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) manager Michael Gallagher joined Falcon in Ovtober 2012 taking over the group’s Dublin, Hungarian and Australian finance and commercial functions.
Previoulsy, in the 11 years at PwC, Gallagher had worked with and advised oil and gas exploration and production companies.
Following the appointment Falcon’s current chief financial officer Eoin Grindley has stepped down with immediate effect.
