Energy services group AGR’s Aberdeen team has won a well project management contract for exploration offshore Benin.
The deal with Dallas-based independent Hunt Oil includes drilling an exploration well, a future option well, rig sourcing, drilling engineering, planning, procurement, regulatory requirements and operational support.
The contract follows another drilling job with Hunt Oil for an exploration well offshore north Western Australia by AGR’s Perth team.
“AGR is pleased to continue its working relationship with Hunt Oil and is looking forward to planning and executing the wells in Benin,” said Ian Burdis, AGR’s executive vice president.
“This is an important award and in conjunction with other recent contract wins, strengthens AGR’s position as the premier provider of well management and associated services in North and West Africa.”
