Centrica Energy has extended its contract with Aberdeen consultancy ADIL to the end of the year.
ADIL said the work was for an “operational excellence programme that will allow the operator to maximise output from its North Sea assets”.
ADIL will provide project management resources and support to Centrica across assets in the Central and Northern North Sea, Southern North Sea, Morecambe Bay and the Netherlands regions.
ADIL says it has worked with Centrica since 2012, delivering a range of enhanced operating standards around permits to work, safe isolations, operational risk assessments, control of overrides and shutdown management.
ADIL also managed the implementation of a production loss reporting tool to provide accurate and timely identification of losses and measurement of production efficiency.
“We are particularly delighted with this contract award as it adds to the work we have delivered to Centrica Energy since the start of their operational excellence programme in 2012,” said Graham Walker, operations manager at ADIL.
