Oil and gas technical and commercial specialist Dundas Consultants, of Aberdeen, has reported 30% growth in annual turnover to £2.8million in only its third year of business.
The company was formed in 2011 by process engineers Richard Woodhouse and Alan Crerar to provide specialist services in development engineering and petroleum economics, as well as subsurface and well engineering support.
Over the past year it has added BG Group, Cluff Natural Resources, Dana Petroleum, and Iona Energy to its broad client base of oil and gas operators.
Mr Woodhouse said: “We are extremely pleased to end our trading year on such a high note.
“We have built on last year’s achievements and our success is in part a result of bringing in more high value work from across the sector.
“This year we undertook one of our largest projects to date, with a joint industry funded multi-discipline study lead by (industry body) Oil and Gas UK.
“This was a 3,000-hour assignment covering subsurface work, development engineering and petroleum economics, and it really played to our strengths of integrating thinking across disciplines.”
