Ashtead Technology is set to team up with Norwegian subsea equipment specialist Innova.
The partnership will see the Aberdeen-headquartered subsea technology company provide customers with Innova products, including high specification hydraulic gear, fibre optic cards and data logging equipment.
Tim Sheehan, commercial director, said: “We are confident this agreement with Innova will provide customers in Norway with a local knowledgeable, responsive service which will provide the best equipment and services that minimise risk and add value through efficiencies.”
The deal will allow Ashtead to supply Innova equipment across the globe, extending an agreement which saw the firm appointed as sole agent for Innova products in two of the company’s the United States and Asia.
Mr Sheehan added: “Through global sales agreements with leading manufacturers such as Innova and through continued investment in our rental fleet we can ensure that we are able to provide the cutting edge technology our customers want.”
