SgurrEnergy has continued its North American expansion with the launch of its San Francisco office.
California has the second highest installed wind capacity in the USA with more than 5.8GW. It also boasts more than 8.5GW of solar power.
The move is part of the Wood Group company’s three year expansion plan.
Director of North American business development, Gareth Brown, said: “California is a hub of renewable energy, with excellent wind and solar resource. SgurrEnergy has rich and established capabilities to define the feasibility and operating conditions of these renewable energy conditions, as well as optimization of existing developments.”
The renewable firm has more than doubled its workforce since 2012 and opened offices in Texas, Norway and South Africa as it looks to increase its international footprint.
