Houston-based Flexitallic Group has appointed Jon Stokes as its new chief executive.
Stokes joins the firm from Emerson Electric where he spent 13 years and served as president of Daniel Measurement and Control Business. He also previously spent 12 years with Shell Oil where he worked as a process engineer.
Stokes, who holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a MBA from the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, said the firm will focus on technological innovation and international expansion.
He said: “We plan to accelerate the pace at which we apply such innovation to industry opportunities, while also expanding our capabilities in China and the Middle East. Our growth will be guided by focusing on solving the most challenging sealing needs of our customers around the world.”
