Oil major BP has suspended operations at one of its platforms in the Caspian Sea for planned maintenance.
The company said operations would be suspended for three weeks at the end of May at the West Azeri platform.
In the first quarter of 2015, crude oil and condensate production rose to 10.6million tonnes in Azerbaijan, from 10.4million tonnes in the same period the year before.
Azerbaijan plans to produce 40.3 million tonnes of oil and 29 bcm of gas in 2015.
