Bosses at a fish and chip shop have announced they will limit the number of oil and gas workers allowed in their shop at any one time, accusing the workers of “struggling to behave like humans”.
The Harbour Fish and Chip Shop in Lerwick has put up a sign saying that only four employees from Wood Group PSN, Petrofac and Morrison Construction are allowed in the shop at any one time.
Workers at the shop have explained the decision has been taken to tackle alleged poor behaviour from employees from the three companies.
After setting out the new oil and gas staff limits, the sign then says the limit is “due to a minority of grown men struggling to behave like humans.”
