Drilling contractor Songa Offshore has retained 100% operational efficiency from its three rigs on hire to Statoil, the company said.
It also achieved an earnings efficiency of 98% working for Statoil in Norway.
Its three rigs, Songa Delta, Songa Trym and Songa Dee all performed at maximum during August. Songa Dee was at yard from July 29-August 11 for client requested modifications and was on a 93% standby rate during the yard stay.
Songa took delivery of Songa Equinox on 30 June 2015. The rig is en-route from Korea to Norway and is currently transiting between Mauritius and Namibia. Another new rig, the Songa Endurance, is en-route from Korea to Norway and is currently transiting between Korea and Singapore.
Songa operates a fleet of three rigs, with an additional four rigs being delivered this year.
