Greenland Gas & Oil (GCO) has appointed a new non-executive director to its team.
Dr Mark Bilsland has extensive experience in the E&P sector and is knowledge will be used to help progress the company’s Jameson project in onshore Greenland.
Bilsland has more than 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry having worked in both the UK and overseas.
Rod McIllree, chief executive of GGO, said: “We are delighted to welcome Mark to the board of GGO, and to be able to benefit from his longstanding sector experience.
“We know he will be a key part of our efforts to progress this unique opportunity in the coming months and years, not least through his experience of rapidly advancing early stage oil and gas companies.”
