Transatlantic Petroleum has launched a marketing process for the sale of its oil and gas assets in Albania.
The company said the move had been authorised by its board of directors and the marketing process will now be pursued.
Transatlantic plans to continue with the execution of its current operational plan which will focus on low cost, high return operations.
Production is currently 6,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) which is made up of around 5,800 boepd from Turkey and a remaining 700 from Albania.
