Range Resources said its chief executive has handed in his resignation notice.
Yan Liu will step also down from his role as the company’s Trinidad general manager.
However, he will remain on the company’s board of directors in a non-executive position.
Lijun Xiu, who is currently Range’s Trinidad deputy general manager, has been appointed to the role of general manager.
Range said the board will consider a replacement for chief executive with duties allocated amongst the senior management team in the interim period.
