Fugro has appointed Brice Bouffard to its board to lead the company’s onshore geotechnical activities.
French national Bouffard, 45, most recently worked at Weatherford where he was global vice president wireline and testing. He spent the first 13 years of his career at Schlumberger, latterly as continental Europe sales and marketing director.
In addition to the onshore geotechnical activities, he will also oversee the firm’s geospatial activities.
Chief executive Paul van Riel, said: “It is our strategic ambition to expand our onshore geotechnical and geospatial business and I am very pleased that Brice is joining Fugro to lead this effort.
“With his extensive international experience in our industry, strong operational, commercial and entrepreneurial management skills and broad experience in information technology, Brice is highly qualified to support the strategic development of Fugro.”
